The Tanah Air Project exists to transform how newcomers are seen, supported, and empowered in Canada’s climate movement. Their climate camp provides tools and knowledge that empowers newcomers and immigrants to step into climate leadership while building solidarity with Indigenous Peoples. Topics covered include: Climate 101 and Canadian Policy, Indigenous Histories and Solidarity, Leadership and Mental Wellbeing and a town Hall Dialogue.

What is the Tanah Air Project?

Tanah Air Project is a newcomer-led initiative positioning belonging as a climate solution. We build newcomer and migrant leadership, advance immigrant inclusion in climate spaces, and create opportunities for Indigenous–newcomer learning.
