Transportation (May 2024) - Register for event​

This dialogue focuses on transportation, the largest source of regional greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Metro Vancouver’s ​Climate 2050 Transportation Roadmap charts the course toward a carbon-neutral, resilient system, with a series of strategies to reduce emissions and protect the network from climate impacts.

How do we make it easier to move people and goods around in this region without relying on individual vehicles​?​ We can to have convenient, less stressful, and cost-effective transportation options. This not only reduces GHG emissions but also enhances air quality, manages congestion, and promotes health through increased active transportation.

Join us at the end of May for insightful discussions with expert speakers, audience Q&A, and networking, as we navigate the path to a sustainable and resilient future for the movement of people and goods in our region. Whether you’re in the industry or simply interested in the role transportation plays in our region’s future, this dialogue is for you.
