Graduate Student Discussion: Developing Innovation Partnerships

January 12, 2024, 11:00 am to 11:50 am

Join us for our monthly Graduate Student Discussions where we explore topics of relevance to students engaging in climate solutions focused research.  These events are hosted on Zoom and open to all interested students in any discipline and at any campus.

Learn about supports available for researchers through the UBC Office of the VP Research and Innovation (VPRI). Researchers are often at the forefront of innovation and sharing the impacts of that research beyond the university is crucial. Join us for conversation with Robbin Simao Manager of Innovation Partnerships, responsible for the portfolio of Sustainability, Climate Change and Natural Resources. She supports research translation and partnership development between UBC researchers, industry and government, and she will also provide an update on other VPRI team supports such as entrepreneurship, commercialization and knowledge exchange.

This event will be hosted online and is open to all student researchers with an interest in climate solutions.
