Brown Bag: Meet the Solutions Scholars - the second in a series

October 18, 2023, 3:00 pm to 3:50 pm

In our second "Meet the Scholars" Brown Bag session, join us as we hear from more Solutions Scholars about the projects that they will be working on throughout the year.  Each scholar will provide a very brief presentation and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. At this session you will hear about projects such as:

  • Re-wilding the City: Applying the Miyawaki Method to Small Urban Spaces
  • Towards a collaborative and co-productive urban greening practice
  • Raptor Habitat Suitability in Post-Fire Landscapes
  • Mitigation of post-wildfire debris flows in small watersheds

Please note that this event will be hosted in person at UBC Vancouver's AERL 107 and a zoom link will be provided to those joining us from other campuses and locations.  Please register to indicate how you will join.
